Amr M. Abdelkader is an associate professor of advanced materials at Bournemouth University and the director of the BU-NEU Joint Centre for Advanced Materials. He leads a team working on developing materials for energy and sustainability. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge. Prior to his appointment at Bournemouth, Dr Abdelkader held several positions at the University of Cambridge, the University of Manchester, and Delft University of Technology. He has published over 100 papers in high-impact journals and contributed to over 20 patents.
