Sanjeev Manocha is a seasoned executive currently serving as the Global Business Development Director at LanzaTech. In this role, he leads LanzaTech's commercial partnerships across energy-intensive industries such as steel and cement. Sanjeev possesses extensive global experience in these sectors and has served on numerous boards with steel businesses and industry institutes. Sanjeev is a metallurgical engineer with an Executive MBA and holds the prestigious Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Throughout his career, he has focused on sustainability, earning widespread recognition for guiding organizations toward minimizing waste. Over the past decade, Sanjeev has been at the forefront of various initiatives aimed at the decarbonization of the lime and steel industries. In 2018, he published the internationally acclaimed article, “Management of Lime in Steel,” further solidifying his reputation in the field.
