R Vasant Kumar is Professor and Distinguished Research Fellow of Materials Chemistry in University of Cambridge and a Fellow of: Trinity Hall College (Cambridge); The Institute of Energy (London); the International Association of Advanced Materials (Sweden); Royal Society of Chemistry (London); and the Institute of Materials, Mining and Metallurgy (London). He has published 400+ papers, 30+ patents, 20+ Chapters in Handbooks and 2 edited books (both related to batteries, Wiley-VCH 2010 and 2023).
