Valeria Zucchelli has recently graduated with Distinction from the Master in Micro- and Nanotechnology Enterprise at the University of Cambridge and holds a BSc in Materials Science and Engineering from ETH Zürich. She is currently completing an internship at BMW, where she is involved in projects focused on the development of battery materials and sustainable technologies for electric mobility.

For her Master’s thesis, she worked on an industrially funded research project focused on the sustainable recycling of batteries. Her work aimed to produce new batteries from recycled waste materials while significantly reducing energy consumption compared to conventional manufacturing processes.
